New Flesh Benchmark
A benchmark picture to my “New Flesh” era of drawing.
I go through eras of drawing styles that last a little under a year, usually, and this time I am going through what I’m calling the New Flesh Era. In the style, there’s usually a lot of peeling and dripping to ‘shed away’ old exteriors.
Some stylistic marks:
– sliding, unfocused eyes that look pasted on (for dogs);
– weird prehistoric-looking fish things with salmon-like jaw hooks that curl down and inwards;
– vertical orientations and lines; lots of dripping.
