Song Drawings
Listening to music often begets new creatures.
I’ve always tied music and visual art together, and most of my drawings were done while listening to a specific set of songs. This page is about the doodles that come about while listening to a certain song, whether for the first time or the fiftieth time.
In chronological order,
Dogs are a very common subject of mine to use as a test figure.
Rodents are much rarer, and here the expression is more meaningful than the subject.
The above is to “Bigmouth Strikes Again” by The Smiths in early May. (Three Smiths songs in a row!)
This picture, like with the above, comes from a time of multiplied body parts.
The above is dated 07/03/2014, and the two are the visual progenitors of all of my long-nosed fish.
Apparently Yorke’s solo stuff is no exception to fish imagery.
